Real Accountability Changed My Life

I used to think I was the only one doing things right—and everyone else was the problem.

Then a consultant named Linda Galindo looked me in the eye and said:

A woman with long blonde hair, smiling, sitting on a staircase carpeted in light gray. She is wearing a patterned blouse with chains in pink, red, and purple, and dark purple pants, with her hands resting on her knee.

“You’d better figure this out… or quit your job.”

That moment stopped me in my tracks.

It was honest. Brutal. True.

And it changed everything.

I Took Back My Power

When I stopped blaming and started owning, my leadership transformed.

The stress dropped. Trust went up. Results followed.

I finally understood that accountability isn’t a tactic—it’s a mindset.

Years later, when I forgot that lesson and fell back into old patterns, I lost a job I’d held for 27 years.

That loss became the foundation for how I teach accountability now: not as a quick fix, but as a daily practice.

Why I Do This Work

Today, I help leaders stop waiting for others to change—and start owning what they can control.

Because when you lead with accountability, you create clarity, culture, and real momentum.

I also serve as the Community Manager for The Accountability Inner Circle, where I lead alongside Linda and support leaders every week in applying these principles to their real-world challenges.
